The Lake District - Ullswater

This is a Georgian mansion on the north shore of Ullswater, set amidst 18 acres of woodland at the heart of Wordsworth country. Our centre-based participants may canoe or kayak on the lake to or from the Centre, enjoy a stay in our high mountain lodge, nestling under Helvellyn - one of the Lake District's highest peaks with its well know rocky Striding and Swirral edges. Outward Bound Ullswater also includes rock climbing on most and caving on some of its courses.

The Welsh Centre, close to the coastal village of Aberdovey has the most spectacular views across the Dyfi estuary. Water activities are based at our specialist wharf facility. Our rock climbing and expeditions are based in quiet and remote mountains and sea cliffs near to the centre. Forest cabins are available for overnight expeditions.
