16 September 2008 Outward Bound Monaco reception at the Automobile club where the Prince presented the " Class of 2008" (young people who had taken part in both the Monaco based OB course and the 3 week UK  experience) with their certificates and course reports. The evening went as follows:

Members, friends, Outward Bound participants and their parents gathered at the AC club for the annual presentation of certificates for the Class of 2008.

It was a particulary important mile stone as apart from sending a record number (18) young people to the UK Outward Bound centres, Monaco was celebrating the first year of its own OB Monaco based course.

President of OB Monaco Dr. Michael Peagram welcomed everyone and gave a brief summary of the year's events.

General Secretary Judy Churchill gave a report on the Monaco based course and thanked  H.S.H. The Prince for his help and continued support of the organisation.

Judy interviewed three of the course particiapnts about their experience and the challenges they faced. All were unanimous in saying that this had been a tough but a life changing experience and they were now facing the challenges in their own lives with renewed confidence.

The Prince presented the young people with their certificates and then spoke to all of them about their Outward Bound challenge, eager to hear every detail of their experience and how it had changed their lives.
